More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received this year,” said Michael Gallagher, President and Founder of the Stevie Awards. “The competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud.”

The ProVeteran Program has been giving back to the community for over five years and includes complimentary access to the mentoring software, MentorString, for every veteran within an organization using the program. Zachary, and features 16 short video modules that help employees develop mentoring and coaching skills at all levels within an organization.

Complimentary Mentoring Software for Veterans

Prositions, Inc., a career coaching and consulting firm, will be conducting a one-hour training session at DMACC, Ankeny Campus, on April 4, 2012, from 10:45 am until 11:45 am. The presentation, “Life After Military Service; Achieve Your Education and Career Goals,” will cover key components to a successful career search, utilizing technology for veterans.

“We will be providing practical information to military veterans, and their families that will help them use the power of technology to ease back into the workforce after their military service has been completed. The Warrior Challenge event will begin at 8:00 am on March 31, 2012, at Hawkeye Recreational Fields in Iowa City, IA.

The Warrior Challenge will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, which strives to raise awareness, and enlist the public’s aid for injured military veterans and their families. The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
