Frank Russell, founder of Prositions, Inc., an award-winning Talent Transformation firm and creator of the MentorString software platform, has been selected as a semifinalist for the 2015 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Upper Midwest. Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award is considered the country’s most prestigious business award, honoring entrepreneurs and transformational CEOs for their commitment and continued success in their companies.

“Frank has been instrumental in the creation and growth of our newest venture, Prositions,” said Robin Salsberry, President and COO of Prositions. “Having built three successful start-ups from scratch, he has proven his ability as a serial entrepreneur, and we’re excited he is being recognized for his accomplishments.”

Judging for this prestigious award is handled by a panel of former EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award winners, and other successful community leaders. Based on more than just numbers, the award is given to those who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance, risk, and personal commitment to not only their business, but their community.

“Being selected as a semifinalist is a great honor,” said Frank Russell, CEO of Prositions. “But the real credit goes to the talented people I’ve been fortunate enough to attract and work with over the years. The next step in the award process is the announcements of finalists on April 24, 2015. From these, awards are presented to the Upper Midwest’s most successful and growing businesses on June 10, 2015.

Prositions, Inc., creator of MentorString, the leading virtual mentoring software platform, announced today that renowned industry author and professor, Paul Leonardi, Ph.D., has joined the company’s Strategic Advisory Board.

“Dr. Leonardi is a highly respected thought leader in the field of social interaction and communication at work,” said Frank Russell, CEO of Prositions. “We are very excited to welcome him to our Board and look forward to his input, guidance and contribution as we continue to grow the company and add new functionality to our MentorString application.”

Dr. Leonardi is the Duca Family Professor of Technology Management at University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He holds appointments in the Technology Management Program and the Department of Communication. He also serves as the Investment Group of Santa Barbara Founding Director of the new Master’s Technology Management Program at UCSB. He has authored dozens of articles and three books on innovation and organizational change.
