Prositions has been selected out of over 10,000 nominations worldwide from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry as a quadruple winner for the 2016 American Business Awards. The awards were in the following four categories: Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year (for Prositions’ ProVeteran Program), Training (for the Make Mentoring Count video course), Marketer of the Year (Ellen Held), and Product Developer of the Year (Will Wilimek).

More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received this year,” said Michael Gallagher, President and Founder of the Stevie Awards. “The competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud.”

The ProVeteran Program has been giving back to the community for over five years and includes complimentary access to the mentoring software, MentorString, for every veteran within an organization using the program. The Make Mentoring Count video course is presented by mentoring expert, Dr. Lois J. Zachary, and features 16 short video modules that help employees develop mentoring and coaching skills at all levels within an organization.

How to Mentor Veterans at Work – A New Webinar Hosted by Prositions

On Wednesday, February 17th from 11:00am to 12:00pm CST, Prositions is hosting a free webinar titled “How to Build a Veteran Mentoring Program in 5 Easy Steps.” The webinar is based on extensive research, observations, and best practices gleaned from dozens of Prositions’ successful veteran initiatives. It is designed to provide valuable takeaways for veteran program managers, HR professionals, and other interested participants to use in the creation and adoption of their own veteran mentoring initiatives.

Prositions Helps Thousands of Veterans On The Job

Within the past few months Prositions has assisted thousands of veterans in the civilian workforce with their ProVeteran Program. The program enables U.S. veterans to take control of their careers by providing resources to successfully transition from the structure and direction they are used to in the military. Complimentary Veteran Program Featuring Mentoring Software to Premiere in Las Vegas, Nevada

A study on career benefits for mentors, published by the Journal of Vocational Behavior, found strong positive correlations that mentors were more satisfied with their jobs, more committed to their organizations, and had higher work performance than those who did not mentor.
